Comprehensive Adaptive Re-normalization of EEG

What is the pROSHI good for?
The pROSHI addresses problems of brain dysregulation. Use of the pROSHI, simply relaxing with eyes closed and the light goggles on, with or without music, increases brainwave flexibility and dis-entrains “stuck on” high amplitude frequencies. These may include the ADD/ADHD, PTSD, anxiety-depression spectrum, fibromyalgia, behavior disorders; various sleep disorders such as apnea or bedwetting, headaches and migraines, PMS, and other emotional disturbances. It is also been shown to be highly useful for organic brain conditions such as seizures, the autism spectrum, and cerebral palsy. Stroke and closed head injury clients have found powerful results such as the regaining of speech abilities and the restoration of use of limbs. Amazingly quick results can sometimes occur when the brain/mind becomes aware of a problem and clears the cause. Chronic pain can sometimes diminish very quickly as the "pain threshold" is reset. Areas of the brain which have switched off such as the ability to smell can come back instantly.

Recent developments in brain scanning technology have allowed the understanding of the electromagnetic functioning of the brain as it relates both to health and to dysfunction. It can be seen that many common difficulties arise when there are consistent specific high amplitude brainwave frequencies rather than a highly flexible non-reactive system. Study of the brainwave activity of Zen masters and 30 year TM practitioners has shown that their brainwave patterns contain a fully flexible spectrum of frequencies ranging from delta (0-4 Hz) to Beta (14-40 Hz) all at low amplitudes until there is a specific need such as increased beta for external oriented cognitive functioning. The ROSHI was designed to move the average person towards health and the centered aware state achieved through meditation.

In the sixties a number of AVS machines were created to “entrain" such states as alpha because it was considered to be a meditative or insightful frequency range. It was known that if lights or sound were received by the brain through the eyes and ears the brain would begin to produce more of these frequencies just as you begin to tap your foot to a beat in music. Some of these machines were used at specific frequencies to study languages or other subjects. It is now believed by many researchers that it is far better to let the brain re-normalize at full spectrum coherence and flexibility. Then the brain operator (YOU) can use the brain to meditate, concentrate or sleep as desired.

The ROSHI has been experienced to be helpful in situations where perception of the world and behavior has been affected by trauma. It is possible that a great many difficulties and diseases arise from delayed stress syndrome or sudden or continuous trauma. The ROSHI has seemed to lift off some of the difficulties arising from trauma. This is done through dis-entrainment of high frequency anomalies caused by mental, physical, or emotional trauma. The brain operating in a holographic manner seems to hold traumatic traces that have been referred to as miasms, engrams” or “samskaras” causing a person to behave in ways that are reactive instead of rational. These can often be seen in the EEG as high amplitude anomalies especially in the delta and theta range. It is as if the ROSHI can "wiggle" the stuck on frequency until it comes unstuck. Many of the explanations of the vastly complex activities of the brain can only be explained at this point by these simple analogies. In the future we may know much more of the actual processes which cause or alleviate problems in brain function. For now, many practitioners and researchers are working to learn more and to offer the best that is known to those seeking assistance in healthful living.

The ROSHI also helps train the brain to produce hemispheric coherence in all frequencies, indicating the brain is working in a more orderly and coordinated way. When the brain comes into communication with itself holistically it can self-correct and/or compensate. This compensation, which can perhaps be viewed as one area of the brain being able to respond to a call for help from another area once the brain is in communication with itself, has been of great significance in helping victims of stroke or closed head injury. A different area of the brain can thus take over a task that was previously done by the injured area. Thus even though the damage may be permanent the disability does not have to be.

The re-normalization of the brainwave patterns helps with many conditions that have been understood to be caused by chemical imbalances and the improvement has proven to be long lasting and perhaps permanent. It seems that the electromagnetic level of functioning is more basic and thus deals with the cause rather than just symptoms. It is wonderful to have a healing modality that does not require long term dependence on drugs but on the brain regaining its natural state of health.
